Zoe Fuggle

Occupational Therapist

Zoë Fuggle is an Occupational Therapist and practitioner of Nature-Based Therapy. Since qualifying as an Occupational Therapist in 2008, she has specialised in providing quality mental health care to women from all walks of life. Zoë has always had a passion for nature and the outdoors and following her own experience of burnout and realising the true power of nature in her healing journey, she has made it her mission to share this with other women to promote reconnection and recovery.

Zoë holds a BSc in Occupational Therapy, as well as a Master’s Degree in Professional Health and Social Care, demonstrating her ability to lead with confidence and integrity and apply the latest research to her practice. Zoë has also completed training in Eco-sensory Therapy, a certificate in Advancing Skills in Therapeutic Horticulture, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. This mix of skills enables treatment to be tailored to suit the needs of the client, meeting them where they are.

After an extensive career in the NHS and other health providers, Zoë left conventional healthcare to set up her own private practice using nature as a therapeutic medium to support women to break free from anxiety, stress and burnout. Her individual and group therapy sessions aim to foster reconnection with oneself and the natural environment as part of the recovery journey.

Zoë’s passion for all things nature is at the heart of her personal and professional lives and helps shape her therapeutic approach, including providing meaningful activities ranging from gardening, nature-based crafts, and woodland activities. Through this work, she encourages individuals to break free from the hustle culture and reconnect to their true selves and purpose.
