Timothy Moylan
Author, Speaker & Recovery Advocate
Timothy H. Moylan is an author, speaker, entrepreneur, and recovery advocate whose life is a testament to the power of second chances. Raised in the Nebraska Sandhills and now living in Montana, Timothy has experienced both the depths of addiction and the extraordinary possibilities of recovery.
After years of alcoholism, his life reached a critical turning point when a devastating health crisis brought him frighteningly close to death. What followed was not an overnight transformation, but a journey of accountability, faith, sobriety, family, and learning how to live with purpose.
Timothy shares that journey in his memoir, Rock Bottom Has a Basement: From the Bottle to Borrowed Time. Through an unfiltered account of addiction, consequences, survival, and redemption, he offers a message for anyone who believes they have fallen too far to rebuild their life.
Today, Timothy is a small-business owner, husband, father, author, and advocate for recovery. His story and message have been shared through interviews, podcasts, radio, television, and speaking opportunities. Rather than presenting himself as a clinical expert on addiction, Timothy writes and speaks from lived experience—about recovery, personal responsibility, faith, resilience, entrepreneurship, and what it means to make something meaningful out of a second chance.
His message is simple: Rock bottom may have a basement, but it does not have to be where your story ends.
