Tatjana Simakova

Founder of Salvus ParenTEENg

Tatjana Simakova is a psychotherapist, art therapist, and the founder of Salvus ParenTEENg - a global support community for parents navigating the often-overwhelming teen years. With over a decade of experience in trauma-informed therapy, creative arts therapies, and family work, Tatjana combines professional expertise with a deeply human approach. Her passion lies in helping parents reconnect with their teens, regulate their own emotional responses, and shift from conflict to connection.
Tatjana’s therapeutic work is rooted in nervous system awareness, somatic practices, attachment theory, and the belief that healing happens through safe relationships and not quick fixes. In her one-to-one sessions and group spaces, she brings warmth, honesty, and tools that meet people exactly where they are.
Her wider mission came to life through Salvus parenTEENg, a vibrant community that brings together parents and professionals to co-create a new kind of “village” for raising emotionally resilient teenagers. Inside Salvus, members access a growing library of free and paid content, including workbooks, reflection sheets, guided exercises, live workshops, and expert-led talks on topics like emotional safety, communication, teen anxiety, digital life, and more. The space also offers themed parenting circles, online meetups, and honest conversations where no question is too small and no struggle is dismissed.
Through regular articles, interviews, and community discussions, Tatjana creates a culture of support that goes beyond parenting tips, focusing instead on deep emotional awareness, mutual respect, and healing through connection. Her work invites parents to stop performing and start relating with themselves, their teens, and each other.
