Suzette Obiana - Martina

Cesar Exercise Therapist

Suzette Obiana-Martina, born and raised in Curaçao, is a dedicated Cesar Exercise Therapist with over 15 years of experience and a thriving practice. She completed her degree in Cesar Exercise Therapy in the Netherlands, where her rigorous education emphasized precision in movement and posture—a foundation she carries into her current work. Drawing from a background in classical ballet and her deep understanding of movement dynamics, Suzette developed a unique approach that emphasizes the correct execution of therapeutic movements, always focusing on what patients shoulddo rather than what they shouldn’t. This positive, supportive method has built her a loyal client base and a reputation for fostering lasting change.

After returning to Curaçao, Suzette established her practice, now known as PRO Wellness and Therapy Center. This space, born from her expanding clientele and vision, aims to do more than treat symptoms. She addresses the root causes of pain and teaches people how to prevent them. In Curaçao, healthcare largely focuses on curative rather than preventive care, so many suffer recurring issues without ever addressing underlying causes. Suzette recognized this gap, inspiring her to launch PRO TIPS and ADVICE videos on social media and partner with organizations to spread her knowledge even further. Her message is clear: self-reliance and understanding your body are key to long-term well-being.

Suzette’s expertise is strengthened by additional training in corporate exercise therapy, foot therapy, coronary care, heart failure, psychology, and psychosomatics. Having personally dealt with work-related and psychosomatic challenges, she empathizes deeply with her patients, supporting them through tailored solutions. Her commitment to fostering self-sufficiency means she equips each patient with the knowledge and skills to manage their own health. Suzette believes that, through quality time and proper guidance, everyone can learn to listen to their body and act preventatively.

Her philosophy is captured in her motto: "Empower yourself to grow—positive encouragement and proper guidance make anything possible."
