Stacie Steinbock MEd, ABS
Tantra Coaching Specialist
Stacie Steinbock has spent the past 20 years immersed in the field of human sexuality, working as an educator, facilitator, and leader committed to personal and social transformation. With a Master’s degree in Human Sexuality Education from Widener University, she spent 16 of those years teaching in higher education, most notably as Director of the LGBT Center at the University of Louisville Health Sciences Campus. There, she led a groundbreaking collaboration with medical faculty to develop the first fully LGBTQ-DSD inclusive medical school curriculum in the U.S., and contributed to seven peer-reviewed publications advancing sexual and gender health equity. In 2017, her team’s work was recognized with the Louisville Business First “Innovator” award.
But Stacie’s most profound evolution came through a deeply personal challenge. In 2021, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer—a life-altering experience that not only reshaped her body but also her relationship to pleasure, intimacy, and healing. In her search for reconnection and wholeness, she discovered the power of Tantra. What began as a personal practice became a pathway to joy, nervous system regulation, and profound inner transformation.
Today, Stacie is the founder of The Golden Thread, a Tantra-based coaching and education practice offering private sessions, workshops, and retreats in Louisville, KY and online. She is a trauma-informed Tibetan 5 Element Tantra Practitioner, trained through the only government-accredited Tantra program in the world. She works with individuals, couples, and partnership systems to support healing from sexual dysfunction, trauma, and disconnection—helping clients awaken to the wisdom of their bodies and the power of embodied pleasure.
Stacie’s work is rooted in the belief that pleasure is not a luxury—it’s a vital, life-giving force that can lead us back to ourselves.
