Soraya Shaw MSc is the founder of BrainShaw®, one of the UK's first Applied Organisational Neuroscientists, a keynote speaker, strategic thinking partner, author and co-host of Brainy Podcasts.

After more than two decades leading international teams and global brands in advertising, marketing and leadership development, Soraya became fascinated by a question that would shape the next chapter of her career: why do people think, decide and respond so differently when faced with the same challenges?

That curiosity led her to study Applied Organisational Neuroscience, combining commercial leadership experience with the science of the human brain to help leaders and organisations navigate uncertainty, strengthen judgement and build the human capabilities that technology cannot replace.

Today, through BrainShaw®, Soraya explores how human capability is becoming the defining competitive advantage of the 21st century. Her work spans Brain Capital, leadership cognition, organisational culture, hybrid intelligence and the human implications of artificial intelligence, helping leaders prepare for a future where technology is advancing faster than our understanding of ourselves.

Her work extends beyond the boardroom. She is the co-host of Brainy Podcasts, where she explores the science behind leadership, behaviour and future minds; founder of Authentic Beauty, Brains & Confidence, celebrating women's evolving brains and confidence across life; and author of The Brainy Brains of Mindsville®, a children's series introducing brain literacy through imaginative storytelling to help young minds understand their unique strengths from an early age.

Whether speaking to CEOs, leadership teams, educators or parents, Soraya's work is united by one belief: technology will continue to evolve, but human capability will determine whether people, organisations and society flourish alongside it.
