Sarah Holloway

Clinical Hypnotherapist & Strat. Psychotherapist

Sarah Holloway is an accredited clinical hypnotherapist and strategic psychotherapist and the founder of Brighter Life Therapy, a modern therapeutic practice supporting clients across Australia. She works with individuals in person and online, experiencing anxiety, endometriosis, IBS, chronic pain, emotional overwhelm, and habit-related challenges, offering an integrative and nervous-system-informed approach to lasting change.

Sarah holds a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Strategic Psychotherapy (IAP) as well as elite training in HypnoIBS. She holds membership with the International Strategic Psychotherapist Association (ISPA), Australian Hypnotherapist Association (AHA), and incorporates evidence-informed hypnotherapy, strategic brief therapy, and mind-body techniques into her clinical work. A central focus of her practice is the gut-mind connection, recognising the close relationship between stress, the nervous system, digestive health, and chronic pain conditions. This approach is particularly relevant for clients living with endometriosis and IBS, where symptoms are often amplified by ongoing stress, trauma responses, and dysregulation within the gut-brain axis.

Her work with endometriosis clients centres on pain modulation, emotional processing, reducing symptom-related anxiety, and restoring a sense of safety within the body. With IBS, Sarah supports clients to calm gut reactivity by addressing subconscious stress patterns, improving nervous system regulation, and strengthening internal cues of control and predictability.

Before founding Brighter Life Therapy, Sarah’s background included coaching, mentoring, and leadership roles across Australia and Southeast Asia, as well as some earlier work in the UK. Her own experiences with anxiety, habit change, and health-related stress inform her grounded, empathetic, and non-pathologising therapeutic style.

Sarah's work aims to educate, empower, and help people move beyond coping toward a calmer, more connected, and sustainable way of living.
