Sandra O'Neill
Psychoeducation Trainer & Counsellor
Sandra O'Neill combines a unique blend of experience in mental health, education and business, intertwining these areas to empower individuals and business leaders. Spanning a corporate career across Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and USA, she has a vast background in business consulting, training, development, leadership and management. Sandra later changed career path, inspired by seeking a new purpose, following an earlier passion in psychology, retraining in mental health.
Today Sandra is a Registered Counsellor with the Australian Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists through the Australian Counselling Association and continues work as a qualified Trainer & Assessor. She’s experienced supporting individuals in wellbeing and delivering workplace psychoeducation. Sandra works with Lifeline Australia, delivering training to front line workers and communities in topics on mental health, communication, suicide prevention and Domestic & Family Violence awareness. In addition, she is a Wellness Coach for a Government funded service supporting the business and rural sectors.
Well Work was created by Sandra as a platform to blend the worlds of business - mental health and education – focussing on wellbeing in the workplace. By educating leaders through facilitated learning and consulting, they build the knowledge to implement a better culture, fulfilling new legal and ethical responsibilities; in turn improving productivity, sustainability and most importantly, providing a psychosocially safe work place that people want to be part of.
Sandra works with organisations by customising content to their needs based on required scope. Working with individuals, she values forming therapeutic relationships, backed by evidence-based clinical approaches, aligning their strengths, values and resources, through a person-centred, trauma informed lens with cultural sensitivity. Well Life Counselling provides individuals as they go through life’s challenges, in areas which may include anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, stress management, burnout, interpersonal conflict, workplace stress and career guidance.
Sandra is passionate and focused to support each client with authenticity - on a business level or individually, to identify priorities and support goals.
