Sam Kim wasn't handed an easy start. Raised in a Buddhist household in poverty, he grew up sensing things he didn't yet have words for — a private, paranormal awareness that ran alongside a childhood already shaped by hardship. After his family moved to the United States, he was diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia, placed in special education, and spent years being told, implicitly, that he didn't fit the mold. He earned his associate degree anyway — it just took him four years longer than most.

What followed wasn't a straight line to purpose. Sam became a plumber and spent his 20s and 30s drifting through countless jobs, none of them sticking. It was during an unlikely stretch as a toll collector — hours alone in a booth — that he taught himself to read more deeply, turning isolation into self-made education.

Then came the moment that changed everything. On a service call for his old plumbing company in New Jersey, Sam was electrocuted and had a near-death experience. He came back different — awake to gifts that would define the rest of his life.

Today, Sam calls himself a "spiritual plumber," a nod to both his trade and his calling: helping people clear the blockages between themselves and their own inner knowing. He's a Reiki Master, medical intuitive, psychic medium, and yogi, trained all over the world, with a practice that spans energy healing, telepathy, and Qigong. A former bodybuilder, he treats physical discipline as inseparable from spiritual growth — the body and the beyond, held together.

There's even symmetry in his name — one traditionally male, one traditionally female — which mirrors the balance he's spent his life pursuing: masculine and feminine, East and West, the practical 3D world and the divine realms above it. As a self-described Galactic Medium, Sam reads past the emotional and physical layers of a person to something deeper still: the cosmic blueprint each of us was given at birth.

Why his story lands: Sam isn't a mystic who arrived at this work from comfort. He got here through poverty, learning differences, decades of searching, and a literal brush with death — which is exactly what makes his message land. He's not asking people to take a leap of faith into the unknown; he's proof that ordinary struggle can crack open something extraordinary.
