Rosana Santos Calambichis

Entrepreneur, Operator & Author

Rosana Santos Calambichis is an entrepreneur, operator, and author with more than two decades of cross-sector experience in the food industry. Her work spans food manufacturing, private label, specialty distribution, online retail, restaurants, bakery, event catering, and yacht and inflight catering, giving her a working view of how food businesses operate, grow, and endure.

Born in Brazil and raised in São Paulo, she studied law and earned her degree at PUC São Paulo, later completing an MBA in Global Business Management. She has lived and worked across South America, Africa, and the United States, and that international grounding shapes how she reads markets, supply chains, and teams.

With a foundation in law, an MBA, and a background in business brokerage, she approaches every venture through the lens of operations, finance, strategy, and risk.

For over two decades she led a food manufacturing and hospitality company through growth, market shifts, and reinvention, work that took her across production floors, commercial kitchens, distribution channels, and boardrooms.

Today she writes and speaks about profitability, leadership, scaling, supply chain, food safety, and business resilience, translating operating experience into practical frameworks entrepreneurs can apply.

She is the author of The Food Business Blueprint: From Concept to Operations in the Age of AI, and reaches operators through The Food Business Blueprint Podcast, Operator's Minute, and her column, The Enduring Table.

Among her honors, Rosana was named Commander by the Sublime Order Pumart Merit of Honor in Brazil and recognized by the U.S. Department of Commerce MBDA Miami among top minority entrepreneurship advocates and lifetime achievers. She has served on boards, mentored international entrepreneurship students, and spoken to business audiences.

Her work rests on a single principle: strong food businesses combine culinary integrity, operational discipline, and human purpose, and are designed to earn, endure, and inspire.
