Nathaniel McAllister
Founder of Hurdle Community
Nathaniel began his entrepreneurial journey at university, founding a venture-backed start-up before moving into private equity and later joining a family office. When redundancy hit, he expected the job search to be straightforward - but quickly discovered how dramatically the job market had shifted.
What started as sharing his experiences online soon evolved into something much greater: Hurdle Community - a platform built to support individuals navigating redundancy, unemployment, and career transition. Through global connections, shared learning, and activity-based initiatives, Hurdle has become a place where people raccess support, guidance and rebuild confidence.
Beyond Hurdle, Nathaniel frequently collaborates with universities, encouraging students to build their own start-ups, personal brands, and take ownership of their career development. He believes everyone deserves the right guidance and support to move forward.
His mission: To ensure no one faces the job search alone and to reimagine the future of work and confidence on a global scale.
