Mica Armstrong

Integrative Transformation Coach

Mica Armstrong is a multidisciplinary health professional, health educator, and behaviour change coach dedicated to advancing a more integrated approach to health and wellbeing. She holds a BSc in European Public Health and an MSc in Health Education and Promotion, combining an evidence-based understanding of health systems, behaviour change, and public health with a holistic perspective that recognises the interconnectedness of mind, body, community, and environment.

Her career has spanned quality assurance, environmental health and safety, health promotion, and coaching, giving her a broad understanding of the factors that influence both individual and organisational wellbeing. As a certified Brain Health Analytics Coach and energetic healing practitioner, Mica works at the intersection of behavioural science, brain health, resilience, and holistic wellbeing, supporting people in creating sustainable, meaningful change.

Mica is particularly passionate about translating complex health research into practical, accessible knowledge that empowers individuals and communities. Her work explores topics including sustainable behaviour change, burnout prevention and recovery, nervous system regulation, preventative health, Green Mind Theory, environmental wellbeing, and the relationship between human and planetary health. Rather than viewing science and traditional wisdom as opposing perspectives, she advocates for thoughtful integration, recognising that lasting wellbeing is best supported through evidence-informed, person-centred approaches.

Alongside her coaching practice, Mica is developing educational programmes, corporate wellbeing initiatives, and written resources that bridge research with real-world application. She is also the author of an upcoming memoir exploring identity, community, and transformation through the lens of the cultural freezone Landbouwbelang in Maastricht.

Through her writing for BRAINZ Magazine, Mica aims to challenge conventional conversations around health, encouraging readers to move beyond symptom management and embrace a more connected, sustainable vision of wellbeing—for themselves, their communities, and the planet.
