Kimberly Krasowski
Psychotherapist
Kimberly Krasowski, LMHC, CAGS, CAATP is a licensed psychotherapist and the founder of Beacon EMDR and Mental Health Services. She specializes in trauma and abuse recovery, domestic violence recovery, and grief, and supporting individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem and self-worth issues, and managing life stressors. Her work focuses on helping clients identify their core beliefs, understand how these were formed and how they are impacting them in their daily lives. She assists clients in identifying deeply rooted patterns of behavior that impact their relationships, sense of self, and overall well-being.
Kimberly first began working in the field of mental health while in college at the University of New Hampshire. She interned at a local homeless shelter over the summer and fell in love with connecting with the residents and their experiences. She was then drawn to interning for a local domestic violence advocacy group. After spending time answering the 24-hr. hotline and attending court proceedings with women as a court advocate, she developed a passion for domestic violence awareness and supporting survivors.
Kimberly graduated from UNH in 1997 and immediately began her master’s degree program at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. During this 3-year program, Kimberly interned at two elementary schools and one outpatient mental health organization, which allowed her to gain experience teaching lessons, facilitating small groups for students, and working within home environments with children and their families.
Upon graduation in 2000, Kimberly began working for the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. She was once again working in home environments with children and their families, loving these connections. Unfortunately, she needed to suddenly look for another role when it became unsafe for her to continue working in the neighborhood she was working in. Kimberly found her next home at the Lancaster Elementary School in Salem, NH, where she stayed for the next 22 years.
Kimberly felt the draw to use her clinical skills and grow as a clinician; thus, she began working at LifeStance Health, Inc. for the next 2 years until she ultimately decided to follow her dream of starting her own private practice.
Kimberly integrates evidence-based approaches with a client-centered, trauma-informed lens, with a particular passion for helping individuals who feel stuck in cycles of emotional pain, self-doubt, or unhealthy relationship dynamics. Kimberly is dedicated to helping clients move beyond survival patterns toward clarity, empowerment, and lasting change.
In addition to her clinical work, Kimberly is committed to education and advocacy in the mental health field. She creates content and writes to make complex psychological concepts more accessible, helping individuals better understand themselves and their healing process.
Through her work, Kimberly supports clients in reconnecting with themselves, building resilience, and creating more fulfilling, authentic lives.
