Composer, Therapist and Thought Leader

Julene is a Composer, Therapist and Thought Leader in Arts & Health and Impact Performance. Julene is passionate about creating musical experiences designed for transformational real-world outcomes.

As a Composer she has been commissioned by Queen Elizabeth II and The Commonwealth Secretariat, Shaikha Mai Al Khalifa and Ministries of Culture in the Middle East. She is now Composing and Directing Creative-Sensory Wellness Events which feature interactive psychological landscapes through orchestral music.

Julene is passionate about brain-based Neuro-Creative approaches and offering accessible options for mental health and neurodiversity. She is a qualified Neurologic Music Therapist, Neuro-Art Practitioner, Neuroscience Coach and Trauma Informed Expressive Art Therapist. She is Founder of Musical Nutrition which is pioneering digital creative-sensory support for mental health and neurodiversity.
 
Involved in thought leadership for over a decade, Julene Co-Chaired the Arts & Health working group for The World Academy of Art & Science and UN Office Geneva's GL21 Initative. Her research papers have been published in The Cadmus Journal, Eruditio Journal and Cambridge Scholars Publishing.
 
Correlating arts based methods from around the world, Julene then formulated the Musical Nutrition Method so that arts based methods could be applied strategically across therapeutic, wellness and performance settings for measurable and impactful outcomes. Awarded funding by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Julene Founded Musical Nutrition Ltd. to provide Creative Therapies support for mental health and neurodiversity as well as unique Neuro-Creative interactive performances.
