Jorden Anderson
President & Grant Writer
Jorden Anderson, MSW, MPA, GPC, is the President of Jorden Anderson Consulting, a national consulting firm that helps nonprofits identify funding opportunities, secure competitive grant awards, and build sustainable grant funding programs. Since founding the firm in March 2020, she has helped clients nationwide secure more than $33 million in grant funding to create lasting community impact.
Jorden's career began in social work, earning a bachelor’s degree in social work followed by dual master’s degrees in social work and public administration from Arizona State University. While many of her peers pursued direct practice, she quickly realized she was a Type-A strategist disguised as a social worker. She became fascinated by the systems, leadership, and funding that determine whether nonprofit organizations thrive or struggle. Rather than serving one individual at a time, she discovered she could create an even greater impact by strengthening the organizations that serve entire communities.
That perspective continues to shape her work today. She and her team partner with nonprofits throughout the entire grant lifecycle, from prospect research and proposal development to grant management and long-term capacity building. Jorden helps organizations build grant programs that are both competitive and sustainable by combining strategic thinking with compelling storytelling, strong evaluation practices, and relationship-driven fundraising.
Jorden holds the Grant Professional Certified (GPC) credential, the only nationally recognized certification for grant professionals. She is also an active member of the Grant Professionals Association and is a lifelong learner.
When she's not talking grants, she's spending time with her husband and son or attempting to keep up with what can only be described as a small zoo at home, complete with four dogs, a bird, a bearded dragon, and a full fish tank.
