Do you sometimes sense that things just don’t feel quite right? A bit off perhaps? And many achievements celebrated in this culture right now feel shallow and don’t satisfy for long?
And, do you sometimes sense that there’s another way to do things? Another way to live? Do you experience momentary glimpses, something deeply re-membered in the body that feels clear and harmonious?
And perhaps there’s a rising inspiration in you to bring your gifts and talents to contribute to something you really care about. In a way that feels safe to experiment and explore with others as we gather to move toward a just and more relational world together?
And perhaps you’re looking for some guidance in this that is deeper than thinking or emotion? Guidance to take action and make decisions that align with your deepest values and beliefs, not from a guru, but from within. Connecting with, what might feel like, an inner compass that gives direction and develops trust in the flow of life?
And what if this sense of things feeling ‘a bit off’, your desire to contribute to something you love, through the guidance of an embodied compass could be further attuned in resonant belonging with all life?
I invite you to pause here and now … feel your body touching the ground … and the ground touching this body.
Perhaps we could call this practice Embodied Relational Presence; an accessible way into the here and the now, through the felt-sense of the body, in relationship to the environment around you. Free from fears of the future and habits of the past.
Please feel free to connect with Jenny as we take this journey together through future articles and a range of somatic workshops and experiences of sensory awareness, resonant connection and creative expression.
