Ja’Quan Riggins is the Founder and CEO of Fueled By Pain, a mental health and personal development platform built on the belief that pain can be transformed into purpose. Born in Anniston, Alabama and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Ja’Quan’s journey is shaped by firsthand experiences with adversity, identity development, and the often-unspoken mental health challenges faced by young adults and Black men in particular.

Fueled By Pain began as a personal outlet and evolved into a multifaceted brand encompassing a podcast, community events, speaking engagements, and digital mental health tools designed to encourage reflection, accountability, and growth. Ja’Quan’s work centers on creating safe, judgment-free spaces where individuals are empowered to tell their stories, confront internal struggles, and reclaim their narrative.

In addition to his advocacy work, Ja’Quan has a background in higher education and student engagement, where he has led wellness initiatives, facilitated mental health programming, and collaborated with campus leadership to support holistic student development. He is also pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Aviation, reflecting his belief that discipline, mindset, and personal growth transcend industries.

Through Fueled By Pain, Ja’Quan continues to challenge stigma, inspire intentional living, and remind others that pain is not the end of the story, but often the beginning of transformation.
