Georgia Harrison is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) specializing in trauma and couples therapy. Georgia holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Florida State University and a Doctor of Social Work (DSW) from Tulane University. Driven by a passion for helping others, she brings a unique blend of clinical expertise, military experience, and heartfelt dedication to her practice.With over a decade of experience within the military mental health system, Georgia has dedicated her career to those who serve. Her journey includes roles, such as working with the VA, where she provided case management to veterans struggling with severe and chronic mental illness. She also commissioned as a Naval Officer, offering clinical and case management support to Sailors. Additionally, she worked with United States Army Special Operations, where she managed the suicide prevention program and provided clinical counseling for 3rd and 7th Special Forces Groups. This extensive experience has given her a unique understanding of the immense challenges faced by military members and their families.In addition to her clinical practice, Georgia offers specialized coaching services designed to help military members and veterans overcome anger and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships. Her approach is rooted in compassion and empowerment, focusing on practical strategies that lead to lasting change. Georgia’s mission is to help people navigate their journeys, create positive and meaningful relationships, and foster their own sense of empowerment.
