Dhru Beeharilal

The Ikigai Coach

Dr. Dhru is an entrepreneur and executive leadership coach who helps small business owners break free from burnout and rediscover the fulfillment that inspired them to build their businesses. He understands the hidden struggles of achievement without balance. With over 15 years of coaching experience and 10 years in IT project management and consulting, he has guided leaders who appear successful on paper yet feel empty inside. He discovered that without purpose, success eventually feels hollow—a truth many entrepreneurs face after years of sacrifice. This realization inspired him to create the Ikigai Aperture™ framework, which blends Japanese bushido and ikigai with Western stoicism, positive psychology, and practical business strategy.

Through this signature approach, Dr. Dhru blends Eastern philosophy, positive psychology, and business strategy to help small business leaders align profit with purpose. His approach is not about pushing harder or adding more, but about focusing on what truly matters and building companies that sustain life rather than consume it. Clients often report renewed clarity about their “why,” authentic balance between work and life, and resilience to thrive even in uncertain times. Many reignite their passion for their businesses and see measurable growth by leading with clarity instead of exhaustion.

As an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), adjunct faculty at Georgetown University, and serial entrepreneur, Dr. Dhru brings both expertise and empathy to every client engagement. His mission is to help small business leaders create companies that are not only profitable and resilient but also deeply aligned with their purpose—so they can stop chasing success and start truly living it.
