Daphne St. Valliere, is a dedicated Psychotherapist and Life Coach with 15 years of experience in the mental health field. Fluent in Haitian-Creole and English, she specializes in helping individuals navigate relationships and develop positive decision-making skills. With a background in Forensic Psychology and Clinical Social Work, Daphne uses evidence-based therapeutic models like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing to support clients in achieving their goals and leading fulfilling lives.
Throughout her career, Daphne has provided comprehensive counseling services to individuals, families, and couples, utilizing a client-centered approach that focuses on the unique needs and goals of the population she services. Her experience includes conducting individual, family, and couples therapy sessions, developing and implementing treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress. She is committed to helping clients shift negative behavior patterns and develop more positive decision-making skills, fostering a happier and more fulfilling life. In addition to her clinical work, Daphne has extensive experience in outreach to community-based organizations, and advocating for youth and families in need of specific therapeutic services.
Daphne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University, where she specialized in Clinical Social Work. Her training included invaluable experience in leadership and clinical focus while working at the United Nations interning in International Social Work as well as in a Family Shelter in Brooklyn as a Clinical Social Work intern Life Coach, Daphne St. Valliere, is dedicated to empowering clients to achieve their fullest potential, envision a different future for themselves, and lead fulfilling lives. Her dedication to enhancing clients; well-being is evident in her compassionate approach and ability to foster positive outcomes. Fluent in Haitian-Creole and some French, she is adept at working with diverse populations, ensuring tailored support and guidance for each client.
