Courtney Lozano
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Courtney Lozano, LCSW owner of Mosaic Wellness Consulting, provides counseling to cancer patients and their families, while supporting healthcare professionals navigating burnout.
Courtney earned an MSW degree from Fordham University and went on to work in healthcare for more than 15 years, with a majority of her career dedicated to Oncology. She has provided emotional support to cancer patients while helping families cope with complexities of caregiving. She developed a wellness program for cancer survivors, featured on The Steve Adubato Show and was grateful to be nominated for the NJBIZ 40 under 40 award.
Working in healthcare, she was inspired by the interdisciplinary team as they selflessly helped patients navigate life’s toughest battles and darkest moments. She also saw firsthand how compassion fatigue and burnout can take a toll on medical staff. After developing a workplace wellness initiative that was well received by employees, she recognized a gap that needed to be filled. This inspired Courtney to dedicate her work to supporting fellow professionals. Through professional development workshops and 1:1 customized support, Courtney now works with those engaged in emotionally demanding environments to enhance well-being in a way that creates a valuable, supportive experience.
Courtney also offers networking events for healthcare professionals, creating a catalyst for connections. She has facilitated a hike, a cooking class, a vision board event and a charcuterie workshop!
Why Mosaic Wellness? Just as each piece of a mosaic is important in creating the final design, each moment and experience in life is important in shaping who we are and the overall story of our lives. A mosaic takes something fragmented or broken and turns it into something beautiful. In life, we may experience challenges or hardships but through our struggles, we can develop increased resilience and personal growth to create a positive outcome.
