Chelsea Haverly

Trauma-Informed Consultant/Practitioner

Chelsea Haverly (she/her) is the founder of Hope Ignited, a trauma-informed and trauma-responsive consultation and training company based in Annapolis, Maryland, located on the traditional lands of the Piscataway people. She is also the co-owner of Anchored Hope Therapy, an inclusive group mental health practice established in 2015. Chelsea is a therapist, consultant, and educator dedicated to supporting helping professionals and organizations in aligning their work with values of voice, choice, transparency, collaboration, and sustainability.

She has co-authored Trauma-Informed Bodywork:
A Professional's Guide to Somatic Awareness, Movement Techniques, and Nervous System Regulation and has courses for download on how other trainers, practitioners, and businesses can learn more about trauma-informed frameworks.

As the creatrix behind Hope Ignited, Chelsea envisioned a space that extends beyond a traditional business model. A space that serves as a collective gathering place for professionals across disciplines, backgrounds, and communities. Through her work, she brings people together to teach, learn, connect, and grow, fostering environments where both individuals and systems can thrive. Her approach emphasizes building collaborative, sustainable systems of care that honor the humanity of both those served and those doing the work.

Chelsea’s professional foundation is rooted in deep listening, storytelling, and relationship-building. She believes that stories are living and evolving, and that meaningful change begins when individuals and organizations feel seen, heard, and supported. Her work integrates trauma-informed principles with creativity, intuition, and practical strategy, helping clients reimagine how they lead, serve, and sustain their work.

Originally envisioned as a land-based healing retreat for helping professionals, Hope Ignited evolved in response to the changing needs of the world, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, Chelsea partners with businesses and individuals globally who are committed to shifting their practices toward greater awareness, compassion, and integrity. She specializes in trauma-responsive consultation, training, and organizational development, supporting clients in creating aligned, values-driven practices. She is especially passionate about cultivating spaces that prioritize connection, authenticity, and collective care. She believes in leading with the heart and in creating environments where healing, growth, and transformation can occur. Through all of her work, she remains committed to helping individuals and organizations build practices that are not only effective, but also sustainable, ethical, and deeply human.
