Boshra Saravi
Parenting Coach, Child & Youth Counsellor
Boshra Saravi is an Iranian-Canadian parenting coach, child and youth counsellor, children’s advocate, and founder of BloomCYW and Neuro-Connected Parenting™. She has more than 20 years of international experience supporting children and families across educational, community, childcare, and school-based settings.
Boshra began her professional journey in Iran after earning a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and completing additional studies related to psychology, inner-child work, and emotional well-being. She worked in kindergarten settings, introducing children to yoga, creative activities, and developmentally supportive experiences.
During this period, Boshra also provided educational, emotional, and family support to Afghan refugee children and their caregivers. Her community work included teaching English, art, and yoga, organizing play-based workshops, and supporting families—particularly single mothers—who were navigating displacement, financial pressure, and limited support systems. These experiences shaped her commitment to culturally responsive, compassionate, and relationship-based practice.
After moving to Canada, Boshra became the mother of twins and continued developing her professional knowledge and experience. She earned a diploma in Early Childhood Education from Seneca Polytechnic and worked with children and families through YMCA childcare and school-age programs. She also gained experience within the York Region District School Board.
Boshra later completed her Bachelor of Child and Youth Care at the University of Victoria. Her studies strengthened her knowledge of child development, trauma-informed practice, family relationships, mental health, neurodivergence, and culturally responsive care.
Through BloomCYW and Neuro-Connected Parenting™, Boshra helps parents look beneath children’s behaviour to understand the emotional, developmental, and nervous-system needs that may be influencing it. Her work focuses on ADHD and neurodivergence, emotional regulation, behavioural challenges, screen-time balance, school-related concerns, and parent-child communication.
Drawing on her professional education, extensive field experience, and lived experience as a mother, Boshra offers practical guidance that families can apply in everyday life. Her mission is to help parents replace shame, fear, and power struggles with emotional safety, healthy boundaries, and stronger connections.
