Hi there! I’m Amanda Schenkenberger, and I’m passionate about empowering homeschool moms to calm the chaos and confidently homeschool their children. Through my programs with Homeschool Family Legacy, I focus on creating supportive schedules and building strong bonds, ensuring that families can experience joyful connections and rigorous academics simultaneously. With my background as a homeschooled individual and a homeschooling mother of four boys, I coach other moms to educate curious minds and cultivate courageous spirits.

As a former homeschooled kid turned homeschool mom, I understand the unique challenges and rewards of homeschooling. My journey has equipped me with the tools to help moms go from chaos to unshakable confidence, allowing their families to experience freedom and fun without compromising their children's futures. My qualifications include being a homeschool coach, mental health professional, executive functions expert, entrepreneur, and home educator.

Outside of my professional life, I have a variety of hobbies and passions that keep me energized and inspired. I love entrepreneurship, enjoy a boujee cup of coffee, and am an avid reader of self-improvement books and the Bible. As a family, we cherish our camping trips and visits to amusement parks, making the most of our time together and creating lasting memories.

One unique aspect of my background is that my dad, who is deaf, taught me to read. This experience not only shaped my early education but also instilled in me a deep appreciation for the diverse ways people learn and communicate.

Much of my own experience as a homeschooled child is incorporated into the programs I create at Homeschool Family Legacy. I provide a range of products and services designed to take homeschooling moms from feeling overwhelmed and scattered to becoming confident and connected with their children.

Twice a year I hold the "60 Days to Consistency" program, which is a comprehensive masterclass that teaches moms how to structure their day effectively, organize their homeschool curriculum, and prioritize the most important tasks. This program also helps set clear homeschooling goals and track progress, ensuring that families achieve a consistent and productive homeschooling routine in just 60 days.

Additionally, my "Easy Button Christian Homeschool" curriculum is tailored for new and overwhelmed homeschooling families. This program provides the essential curriculum and structure needed to create lifelong learners and instill a love of reading in children. By offering a well-organized, faith-based educational plan, we help families simplify their homeschooling journey and focus on building a nurturing and engaging learning environment. I give parents everything they need to start homeschooling on the right foot, including my tried and true system of developing elementary aged children who can read at collegiate levels (and I have the test scores to prove it!).

My vision with Homeschool Family Legacy is to transform the face of education in America, and I believe that entrepreneurs are uniquely positioned to lead this change. I firmly believe that we can offer our children a superior education at home compared to public or even private schools. Entrepreneurs, by the nature of our work, are poised for rapid success in homeschooling. We already embrace a growth mindset, are accustomed to making bold decisions, and thrive on challenges. Homeschooling becomes particularly appealing for us, as we want to ensure our children grow up with an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset, rather than an "employee mindset."
