Why Going For What You Want Feels So Scary

I remember this time last year I hired a coach and then THE next day tried to back out.

I felt so much fear around questioning if I made the right decision. I felt like maybe I didn’t need to move so quickly and maybe I was acting too much on impulse.

This coach got on a call with me and told me a singular piece of advice that would forever change me.

They first said I want you to understand that all of your fears are valid. But why it feels so scary to just feel SAFE to go for something you deep down know you want is because:

“When you make powerful, BIG decisions, you are tapping into the energy of your future self. Right now it feels scary because you aren’t fully aligned to it yet. It IS you but it’s your NEXT LEVEL you so it feels far fetched. Your body can feel the gap.”

From that moment I was not the same.

Not only did I decide to allow myself to go for it after that call (which quite literally PROPELLED me into what I had always wanted much faster)

But I watched what happened when I faced my anxiety-ridden fear.

I dismantled it and received the benefits that can only come from taking action and leaping with faith:

>>>Being able to move through fear in life quickly to where it doesn’t really exist anymore<<<

But I had to face it to get there.

The coolest part?

I see everything as an opportunity now vs. an obstacle.

Can you imagine how your life would change if you practiced facing your fears and the things you MOST don’t want to do on a daily basis??

I dare you to experiment with that.
