Reality Cult Launches a Six-Episode Podcast on Artistic Reincarnation and Identity Continuity

Groningen, Netherlands – May 26th 2026 – Reality Cult, the multidisciplinary artistic research platform founded by Stephanie Smit, has launched Past Life Podcast, a six-episode conversation series examining how emotional patterns, creative impulses, and unresolved themes may echo across lifetimes.

The podcast emerges from Reality Cult's broader research into reincarnation, symbolic memory, and recurring cultural dynamics. Through long-form conversations with artists, thinkers, and creative practitioners, the series explores identity continuity, karmic patterns, and the subtle ways individuals and communities shape collective mythologies over time.

Two people sit in armchairs recording the "Past Life Podcast." Each has a microphone. They're in front of large windows with city views.

"Many of the people appearing in these conversations are connected through recurring themes and historical overlaps that revealed themselves through our wider archive," said Smit. "The podcast documents that process in a direct and human way."

Recorded throughout 2025, Season One features guests connected to Reality Cult's expanding research archive and forthcoming Soul Constellation Map, an interactive platform mapping recurring relationships, creative lineages, and symbolic continuities across historical eras and contemporary life. The first episode features Victor Evink examining identity formation, systems of limitation, and creative expression within rapidly shifting cultural structures.

Reality Cult's archive currently contains more than 250 interconnected research cases spanning historical figures, contemporary individuals, and recurring creative communities. The platform employs immersive performance, installations, lectures, essays, karmic astrology, archival research, and AI assisted pattern recognition to investigate memory, consciousness, and cultural transformation.

The Soul Constellation Map is expected to launch publicly in the coming weeks. Additionally, elements of Reality Cult's research will be presented at this year's Spirituality and the Arts Conference at Harvard Divinity School, where Smit will participate alongside the Vision Lab collective.

Other experimental initiatives include IWasJimMorrison, examining recurring identity claims and collective mythologies surrounding reincarnation narratives.

Episodes of Past Life Podcast are available now through Reality Cult.
