David Christner, Spiritual Mentor

Introduce yourself! Please tell us about you and your life, so we can get to know you better.

I am David (aka Third Eye Mentor), born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. On a surface level, I live a very simple life because it allows me to focus on what I value most: spiritual integrity, creative freedom, and serving my family as well as the awakening of human consciousness through my continuous inner transformation. My partner Emma and my son Orion are my greatest teachers, and every day spent with them brings me closer to my soul. If I were to describe the last 10 years, I would say I have lived a life with one foot in the material world and the other in the spiritual world. My passion for creativity and information technology led me to an entrepreneurial career in tech, which grew alongside my journey of spiritual awakening and writing medicine music. When I look back now, my decision to start playing guitar at the age of 13 was one of the best things I’ve done. It nudged me to start writing, producing, singing, and expressing myself through music, which has undeniably accelerated my soul’s growth more than anything else. All in all, I love diving into experiences that bring about deep inner transformation, and seeing how this creates real physical changes in my life (You know the saying: as within, so without!). Many of these experiences have been very intense and difficult, but I don’t regret any of them, as they have shaped me into who I am today.

What’s your purpose, mission, and driving force for all the work you do?

It is to guide people to move closer to their soul and who they truly are, beyond all programming and conditioning that once convinced us how we “should” live. I want them to remember that they came to earth for a mission of being themselves and sharing their gifts to the greatest of their capacity. I also feel that more and more people are starting to honor their truth and question what they've been told, realizing that life's too short to build someone else's dream and work for organisations that might not have their best interests in mind.

Spirituality is no longer considered being “woo-woo” as it used to be, and I think that is partially because many conspiracy “theories” out there have turned out to be true. So I think we live in exhilarating times. It sometimes feels like we’re in the front row watching the most spectacular show playing out before our very eyes, while munching on popcorn (some burnt or too salty, but others deliciously buttery)!

What inspired you to create The Third Eye Mentor Program?

After spending years struggling to go all in on my calling, I realized that committing to your true life path (such as turning your hobby into a real business) is many times very challenging, both emotionally, mentally, as well as physically. That is also why I think so many people give up on their dreams, because it can feel overwhelming and lonely. So, from my experience, the need for some kind of mentor and guide to inspire, empower, and mirror you on this rocky ride is much needed if you truly want to reach success. It may be someone who can help you identify and work with your blind spots, guide you through the somatic healing of releasing pain and trauma, and hold you accountable while you build courage to focus on the things that create real results. The Third Eye Re-Program is the ultimate kickstart if you feel ready to finally align with and commit to your calling, even if no one else seems to believe in you (and it may sometimes feel like that). As a mentor, I'll be here to guide and support with presence, grounded wisdom, practical tools, and healing on your transformational journey.

How do you help clients deepen their intuitive abilities?

I believe that grounding yourself and connecting to your body is key when it comes to opening up your intuitive abilities in a safe way. Because the more grounded you become, the more information you can receive and effectively filter through your senses. Doing daily breath work exercises, listening to grounding music, and spending time in nature (preferably bare feet!) are all great ways of rooting down to tap into your intuition. I also help my clients simplify their lives in different ways to find mental clarity and get in touch with their emotional compass, which I believe is essential for accessing our intuitive gifts. From my experience, simplifying our lives usually requires that we learn to slow down. Because when we slow down and allow our nervous system to rest, we finally start to feel all those emotions that we once buried and denied. Our mental activity slows down, which allows our heart to take center stage and synchronize with our mind. This is truly beautiful because this helps us to finally hear that subtle voice within us, that quiet whisper or inner genius, that can guide us to make wiser decisions that support the pursuit of following our higher calling.

Can you share a memorable success story from one of your clients?

I had a client a few years ago who was pursuing a career in music production. He had struggled with his mental health, routines, and social life for some time. He was also on the autism spectrum. We’ve had sessions for a few months, and our shared passion for both psychology and music led us to develop a close friendship later on. One evening, when I was enjoying a meditation in the woods, I received an unexpected call from him. I answered, and with a serious and vulnerable tone of voice, he said, “You literally saved my life. Without you, I would probably not be here. And for that, I am grateful”. I was very surprised and humbled by his honesty and gratitude, and did not know what to say to him. I will never forget that moment.

How do music and sound healing play a role in your mentorship work?

Together with my partner, I write, produce, and perform medicine music. The music is tuned to 432 Hz harmonious frequency, and the songs and sacred sound journeys are intentionally crafted to raise your vibration in a safe space, to reveal and heal your blockages, fears, and trauma that have been stored in your body. So it is a powerful form of somatic sound therapy for those who are ready to embrace it. Right now, we offer a ceremonial sound healing journey called “Safe To Feel” which is designed to help people release emotional numbness, the feelings of loneliness, and lack of trust in life that tend to come with it. We also offer live concerts where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together and experience our sonic medicine. I feel that humanity as a collective is slowly coming out of an emotional dark age, where more people are opening up to the healing power of sound and the need for safe containers where emotional release can take place. This is a wonderful movement that I am truly excited to be a part of!

What advice do you have for someone just starting their spiritual awakening journey?

My advice would be to simplify your life, one step at a time, and be patient with yourself. That could mean gently removing foods, situations, relationships, and habits that you feel are draining your vitality, and exploring new habits that intuitively call you to support your well-being. Seek out communities of like-minded individuals who are also new to the awakening journey, because the journey can feel isolating at times. Getting in touch with mentors and teachers you are drawn to can also be super valuable. But the most important thing from my experience is to allow yourself to be a raw, vulnerable, messy, and imperfect human being without comparing your journey to anyone else’s. Trust that there is a higher guidance that always has your back, even in times when you doubt yourself and the experience you are going through.

Tell us about a pivotal moment in your life that brought you to where you are today.

I would say that my life crisis back in 2016, and specifically when I decided to replace daily self-blame with meditation, was a pivotal turning point that ultimately set me on the path of spiritual awakening. It slowly made me trust in life and myself again and gain the courage and level of focus needed to reclaim the wisdom within me that I now share with the world.

Without this experience, I would not be here and serve others as a spiritual mentor. This was one of those experiences that made me realize just how precious this life is, and that if you do not go after what you want in life (despite the fears, doubts, and physical steps involved), you will likely have painful regrets on your deathbed. But if you choose to trust your heart's inner guidance and fully commit to your own hero's journey, you will begin to see how beautiful and synchronistic life can be.
