In our changing and challenging times, we’re called upon to find new depths of creativity in our relationships, our work, and our lives. This means learning to access the core creativity that comes from the very center of our being: the depths of our unconscious.

I invite and encourage you to join me and Ron Alexander — an acclaimed author, mind-body psychotherapist, international trainer, and creativity coach — in our five-day Omega workshop, “Core Creativity and Mysticism,” that will take place in Rhinebeck, New York, on October 23-28, 2022.

Ron is my dear friend and mentor, and has just released a new book called, Core Creativity: The Mindful Way to Unlock Your Creative Self. We will combine his teachings about accessing new depths of creativity with themes from my latest book, Mindfulness and Mysticism: Connecting Present Moment Awareness with Higher States of Consciousness, in an integrated mind-body program. We plan to guide participants in immersing themselves in ancient wisdom teachings, mindfulness, creative psychology and mysticism.

Using a hands-on, experiential approach, we will work to de-program ourselves from the clutter and the distracted mind and make a concerted effort to be in the moment of now.

We will explore how to better navigate the world in this time of dramatic changes and advancements. Through Mindfulness meditation, we will enter what Ron calls “open mind” space and find clarity in the stillness — what Carl Jung talked about as where creativity arises naturally and spontaneously. The creative unconscious is where inspiration is found.

We will pair intention with attention — for example, “to enter the creative portal.” This opens us to a state of receptivity in which each of us can access our core creativity.

As we explore the union between the mystical and our limitless creativity, we begin to unveil the divine within each moment of our lives. Through a variety of contemplative orientations, we will open ourselves to fearlessly enter these realms and better understand how humankind is in a tremendous moment of awakening in the midst of the struggle between good and evil.

This is a non-denominational workshop that takes participants on a contemplative journey. We will use guided imagery, healing affirmations, trance, prayer, and deep silence as pathways to the illumination of one’s self. We will better learn how each of us can be beacons of light as we direct the destiny of our lives.

Our goal for the five days is to empower every participant to go back out into the world with a deep understanding of the creative process, how the mystical experience is available to you, and how to open your heart to infinite possibilities.

Please consider joining Ron Alexander and myself on this powerful journey of self-discovery. Learn more at Omega.org.
