Have you tried pausing in the middle of a busy day and just wondered what it takes to be enough? If yes, hundreds of women worldwide are just as anxious and curious as you. I even needed answers back then and tried to find them in the wrong places.

A mother, a single individual, a business owner, a career-maker, no one can escape the feeling of not being enough. But while it could be pushing some buttons on you, sometimes facing this limiting belief means you are currently venturing something out of your comfort zone.

Before we go deeper, I want to tell you that there is no secret recipe on how to be enough. You can, however, watch out first for potential behaviours every time the feeling of not being enough is overwhelming.

  • We constantly try to prove to others but most importantly ourselves that we are good enough, pushing our limits, attracting significant challenges and most of the time not getting the acknowledgement we seek.

  • Enough is never enough; we end up working hard.

  • We might feel a sense of emptiness inside us; something is missing.

  • Over-achievers. Endless learners. People push themselves hard and often end up burning out.

  • Often future-oriented as the objective is to get better and better, so often seeking for future possibilities to grow.

  • There is a lot of harshness against them as they are never enough, and their environment is just validating this belief.

This kind of limiting belief is inescapable but can be CONFRONTED and SILENCED. You need to be able to hear and uncover what your subconscious mind believes in order to change the circumstances of your life. The feeling of not being enough could be birthed from the lack of validation.

And since we seek so much of our validity outside ourselves, it has the power to tend to co-create situations in our life to reinforce them as the truth. Ironically, we can develop subconscious strategies to cope with them or resolve the tension they create in our life through the same process.

The quality of our life directly reflects the meaning we give to situations and the emotions we attach to them.

With love,

Eva Martins
