I remember when I first questioned my purpose. I was at an all-time low in my life everything that could go wrong went wrong. I knew in that moment of uncertainty and doubt I had a choice to make. I chose to live on my terms doing what made me happy. Since I was nine I always knew I would make an impact on the world. Back then I knew nothing about meditating chakras or the importance of balance. What I knew was I had a gift when it came to writing and speaking.

Today more than ever people are on a quest for their purpose. They go on pilgrimages and sit in solitude for hours waiting for some magical word or event to occur only to confirm what they already deep down inside the answer to. What holds you back from your purpose is fear. We go seeking and searching for another way around that fear hoping to avoid it all together. Yet deep down you know your purpose is connected to your fear. The problem is we don't know how to let go of the fear so that we can step into our purpose. Here are 4 simple steps you can do today to start living with purpose:

  1. Know who you are, and I mean to know who you are without titles without the roles that you placed on yourself titles and roles are borrowed you can be a CEO today and a nobody tomorrow. Who are you at your core? I am a creator of beauty and light, the essence of peace, strength, courage, I am ME and I make no apologies for it.

  2. Accept that you will have fears. They don't magically go away you don't confront them today and they no longer exist tomorrow they will always be a new fear there will always be a new challenge is just accepting and understanding where you're at and not letting fear guide your decisions. Remember fear comes from the unknown. If you picture yourself being successful or having a great outcome the next time you start to be fearful.

  3. Do things with intention. Set clear intentions about how you want to show up every day. Walk up a little early so that you have time to think about what you need to get done that day. Are mental and emotional in a place to commit? Remember always do something from a place of love support and understanding

  4. Understand that your journey is just that your journey. As easy as it would be to have other people walk with you on your journey they can't because they have their own journey. You can have support along the way but you to take the journey and see it through no one else.

Our purpose is tied to your Dreams. They bring us a sense of completeness like nothing else. Once you understand these 4 things you will be able to live your life with clear purpose and intention. When in doubt ask yourself does it truly makes you happy if so then you are on the right track?
