Have you ever wondered what the difference between actualizing and manifesting is? Do you know about actualization?

The famous psychologist Abraham Maslow, known for the hierarchy of needs theory, stated that, “what a man can be, he must be,” referring to our capacity to fulfill our full potential. For Maslow, self-actualization implied achieving our Ideal-Self or, at least, approaching our reality with that idea in mind.

Maslow’s self-actualization concept is close to our definition of actualization, but it does not cover the energetic implications of that process. Actualizing your life goes beyond potential fulfillment; it is about attracting and materializing the energetic frequencies of the life you know you deserve.

Getting what you want... almost

According to the dictionary, manifestation is a “sign of something existing or happening.” To manifest implies bringing to life something you thought about or even wished to happen in your life. This idea is frequently related to the Law of Attraction, a technique popularized by best-selling books like The Secret. The most common perception of manifestation and visualization is that they help us turn our dreams into reality. It is a way to bring our thoughts into the material realm, and thus give the things we think about, write about, or even the words we speak great power.

Over the last few decades, popular culture has adopted a common belief that manifestation is the final result of the law of attraction. While there is some truth and evidence to back this result, the real achievement can be better described by another critical term I would like to introduce in this article: actualization.

The difference between manifestation and actualization is so subtle and imperceptible that often manifesting overshadows what actualizing entails. The main distinction is that the payoff we often seek is not manifesting. It is actualizing.

Manifesting is a way to show or prove that one is abundant and capable of receiving; it is an outward appearance. While actualizing is about authentically having all the wealth, love, and success we want.

What does it mean to actualize?

Although manifesting brings into the material realm the things one desires: a new car, a relationship, or finding a new job; actualizing is the final download of those wishes into your life.

For example, if your biggest wish is to have a baby, you may start visualizing, journaling, and creating the conditions to manifest a baby into your life; as if by magic you begin to see pregnant people everywhere, like never before: but a baby isn’t in YOUR life, just yet. Another example could be that you really wish to have a beautiful new Tesla car, so you repeat the same process of visualization and journaling, and yes, you begin to see Tesla’s EVERYWHERE, but still, you don’t have a gorgeous new one parked in your garage. There is a disconnect. It doesn’t come fully into your life. It is like a flash of a dream that we can only see vaguely, or it comes in and out of focus

How do we connect with what we manifest in a higher realm? How do we actualize it? We must rise to meet it as it moves towards us. In short, actualizing is co-creating our own destiny with the laws of nature.

A New Paradigm

Oftentimes, we tend to rely on vision boards and journaling to manifest our dreams, and we do manifest, but the process only allows us to bring those wishes into visibility, not to reality. If we want to achieve the best results and actualize what we want to experience in our life, however, we need to break the paradigm of manifestation and build a new paradigm from scratch. This new set of steps will mean more work for us and our energy frequencies, and payoff with results.

As we are entering this new era of actualization, we must start with Energy Alchemy as the first step to transform and align with the Divine. If we want to co-create our destiny, we need to be in tune with the Universe, so we can work together. In short, we need to acknowledge our soul’s purpose to set our intentions and help the Divine to actualize what we want. So, the first step to achieving that awareness is to do the energetic work that will allow us to align our dreams with our Soul’s purpose.

The circuit of actualization

Imagine a system, a circuit in which the process of actualization flows like electricity. Energy transmutes and travels through this circuit leveling upon each specific task. Starting from a wish, or an intention that you wish to see in the material realm, the work of energetic transformation then flows through these six steps:

  1. Desire (your first intention or wish)

  2. Clarity (the visualization of every specific part of that intention)

  3. Faith (trusting the universe and your alignment with the Divine to co-create)

  4. Alchemize (transmutation of energy by raising your vibration)

  5. Anchoring (claiming your purpose with clarity and determination)

  6. Let it go (releasing what you want, because you are confident it already exists and is coming your way)

Only when you do the work of transforming your desire into a high-frequency intention will you be able to actualize it in the five levels of your reality: starting from your energy, soul, mind, emotions, and your body to finally reach that material realm.

Causing yourself a great life

Actualizing is the final chapter of the manifestation process. Dreams, positive affirmations, journaling, and visualization are the methods to manifest. Nevertheless, if the timing is not right or even if something is not clear about what you wish, the process might get stuck in the manifestation phase. It is only when everything aligns: your desire, the timing, the intentions, and the clarity of your wishes, that you will have the conditions necessary to actualize your dreams into reality. Picture it as if it were the last great effort to win a sprint or to reach a summit. Timing is everything, and to actualize, you really need to have all the green lights on your path.

When you finally are able to actualize your wishes and intentions into your life, you get to cause yourself a life really aligned with your Soul Purpose. In addition, your frequencies get so high, that you get to vibe up the people around you and the planet! This energy is so contagious and so pure that it helps other people to achieve their own dreams and goals. This is the mission for each of us, it’s a movement, a wave we can all jump into to create better things for ourselves and everyone.

This is the time to dream and write what you want to actualize in your life. Align with your Soul, visualize, and vibe up your frequencies if you want to reach the summit!
