Zina Alhilali
Physician, TEDx Speaker, and Trauma-informed Expert
Dr Zina Alhilali is a physician, TEDx speaker, and trauma-informed expert working at the intersection of medicine, neuroscience, and human behaviour. Her work is driven by a central question: why do people continue to struggle, even when everything appears to be in place?
With clinical experience across different healthcare systems and cultures, and shaped by personal lived experience, she brings a perspective that goes beyond traditional approaches. She focuses on decoding hidden trauma-driven patterns that often present as emotional overwhelm, behavioural challenges, burnout, or unexplained physical symptoms such as chronic pain, IBS, headaches, anxiety, and panic.
Rather than separating mind and body, her work recognises their constant interaction, helping individuals and organisations understand how past experiences shape present reactions, performance, and wellbeing.
She is known for her deep empathy and her ability to listen in a way that makes people feel safe, understood, and free from judgement. This creates space for clarity, insight, and meaningful change, even in areas that have felt stuck for years.
Alongside her clinical and professional work, she is currently writing for both adults and children, translating complex human experiences into accessible tools for awareness, growth, and change.
