Yemisi Mokuolu is an award-winning business consultant, cultural strategist and independent producer with over two decades of experience empowering creative entrepreneurs and organisations worldwide. As Founder & CEO of Hatch Ideas, she has delivered business mentoring, training and development programmes to hundreds of creative and purpose-driven businesses, specialising in financing strategies, operational management and grant fundraising.
Yemisi is celebrated for her innovative frameworks and strategic leadership, earning accolades such as “UK CEO of the Year – Creative Industry Support” (Excellence Awards 2025), London’s “Most Instrumental Business Development & Training Businesswoman” (Acquisition International 2024) and a place among the Top 100 African Business Leaders and Entrepreneurs in the UK.
Her consultancy work spans the UK, Africa, Europe and beyond, designing and delivering business development programmes, incubators and accelerators for leading institutions including the British Council, British Library, Goethe Institute and the European Commission. Yemisi has supported over 1,000 entrepreneurs in the last three years alone and is recognised for advancing the creative and cultural industries through her advisory work with governments and major organisations.
A passionate advocate for African creativity, Yemisi is co-producer of Ghana’s Asa Baako – One Dance Festival, co-founder of the Five Cowries arts education charity in Nigeria, and has produced some of London’s largest African arts festivals. She has contributed to sector growth through publications, including a chapter on “Finance for Creative and Cultural Industries in Africa” and regularly speaks at global forums on creative entrepreneurship and industry innovation.
Yemisi also serves as Chair of Worthing Theatres & Museums, advises on international cultural policy. Her mission is to equip creatives and change-makers with the tools, strategies and confidence to achieve their potential.
