Tracy D. Malone took a long, non-traditional route to her career as a Business Consultant. Her first gig out of college started from humble beginnings as a word processor and secretary.
 
It took considerable time for her to develop mastery and confidence. She transformed herself repeatedly. Her transition into Business Consulting was the result of stacking her skills and seizing key opportunities every step of the way. At the heart of each move was her desire to pursue her identity.
 
Tracy understands first-hand that mastery doesn't automatically equate to getting paid what you're worth. She says,
 
"As entrepreneurs, we often start with hearts full of hope, only to find ourselves swamped and overwhelmed when things don't go as planned."
 
Tracy's entrepreneurial journey wasn’t easy. There was one major turning point where she found herself let go from Loreal after solving a $375m problem created by IBM. Although this incident stung her and left her struggling to find her way, she managed to emerge stronger and better than ever.
 
The way she handled this setback is a testament to her perseverance. She turned it into a life-changing opportunity to segue into a new career as a Realtor with Coldwell Banker, where she earned the coveted Rookie Of The Year Award. Over 20+ years she honed her skills in consultative selling and interpersonal communication.
 
Through it all, she's discovered her unique version of ikigai, and now she's passionate about sharing her wisdom with entrepreneurs on a similar journey.
