Sonia May Eldergill

Identity Coach

Hello, I’m Sonia May Eldergill, an Identity Coach devoted to supporting high-achieving women navigating the emotional and psychological complexities of life with an alcoholic partner. My work is grounded in one powerful belief: you do not have to abandon yourself in order to hold everything else together. I help women move out of survival mode and into self-leadership – where clarity, confidence, and personal fulfillment become the standard, not the exception.

I specialize in guiding women who have spent years coping, over-functioning, and prioritizing others at the expense of their own identity. Through my work, I activate a shift – from enduring life to consciously choosing it. My clients learn how to reconnect with who they are, reclaim their voice, and create a life that reflects their true values, desires, and worth.

At the core of my coaching is my signature six-step framework, The Back To You Reset, delivered through my 12-week 1:1 coaching programme, Renew and Rise. This transformational journey is designed to help women rebuild self-trust, establish healthy boundaries without guilt, regulate emotional patterns, and step into a more empowered and intentional way of living. My approach is both compassionate and direct – providing a safe, non-judgmental space while also challenging the patterns that keep women from having a thriving, fulfilled life.

My professional foundation includes a CPD-certified Level 5 Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring, equipping me with the tools to facilitate deep and sustainable personal transformation. However, what truly shapes my work is my lived experience. I spent over twenty years in a relationship affected by alcoholism, and my husband has now been sober for ten years. This journey has given me profound insight into identity loss, resilience, and the process of reclaiming oneself after years of emotional complexity.

Beyond my coaching practice, I am also recognized as an Executive Contributor with Brainz Magazine, where I share thought leadership on identity, empowerment, and personal transformation.

I actively extend my mission through my online platforms, where I provide guidance, insights, and support to a wider community of women seeking change. Through my Facebook presence at Facebook and my growing audience on Instagram, I share empowering content, practical tools, and reflections that inspire women to stop coping and start choosing themselves. These platforms serve as an extension of my work – creating accessible spaces for connection, education, and transformation.

My mission is simple yet powerful: to help women remember who they are, reclaim their identity, and rise into a life that feels aligned, fulfilled, and truly their own.
