Sarah Staley

Director of Organizational Development & Coaching

Sarah Staley, M.S., ACC, SHRM-CP, SPHR is a Director of Organizational Development & Coaching, executive coach, speaker, and author specializing in emotional intelligence, trauma-informed leadership, and human-centered organizational development. With more than two decades of experience in Human Resources and leadership development, she is known for helping leaders and organizations better understand the human dynamics that drive performance, trust, resilience, and workplace culture.

Sarah’s work sits at the intersection of leadership, neuroscience, emotional intelligence, and adversity. Drawing from both executive leadership experience and profound personal transformation, she explores how pressure, disruption, and lived experience shape the way people think, lead, communicate, and perform. Her leadership philosophy centers on the belief that many workplace challenges traditionally labeled as “performance issues” are often misunderstood human responses to stress, burnout, uncertainty, and adversity.

She is the author of Alchemy of Adversity: How Emotional Intelligence Turns Trauma Into Leadership Strength, a book that examines how adversity can become a catalyst for deeper self-awareness, emotional regulation, resilience, and leadership growth. Through her writing, coaching, and speaking engagements, Sarah advocates for a more conscious, emotionally intelligent approach to leadership—one that balances accountability with humanity and recognizes psychological safety as a strategic advantage rather than a soft skill.

In addition to her executive leadership work, Sarah is an ICF-ACC certified coach, SHRM-CP, and SPHR professional passionate about leadership transformation, coaching, and organizational culture. She regularly facilitates leadership development initiatives, executive coaching engagements, workshops, and speaking events focused on leadership under pressure, emotional intelligence, and the future of trauma-informed leadership in the workplace.

Her mission is simple: to help leaders and organizations build environments where people can think clearly, lead effectively, and perform sustainably—even in the face of adversity.
