Dr. Sarah Balaster, DMD, formerly known professionally as Sarah Oshman, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and is board certified in Periodontics and Dental Implant Surgery, with expertise in laser dentistry. She is a periodontist, dental implant surgeon, educator, researcher, published author, and speaker.
 
Dr. Balaster received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and earned her Certificate in Periodontics from New York University College of Dentistry. Prior to pursuing dentistry, she graduated with honors from Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts, a background that continues to influence her appreciation for both the science and aesthetics of patient care.
