Sandra is the founder and skincare formulator behind A'Ferreira, a luxury skincare brand that combines science-proven actives with rare Brazilian botanicals to create gentle, high-performance skincare for mature, dehydrated, sensitive, and environmentally stressed skin.Her passion for skincare began through personal experience.

Having lived with dry, sensitive skin and psoriasis for many years, Sandra understood how difficult it could be to find products that supported the skin without relying on harsh ingredients or unnecessary fragrance. This led her to embrace a simpler, more thoughtful approach to skincare.After moving from England to Brazil, where her youngest son was born, Sandra discovered the remarkable diversity of Brazil's native botanicals. Immersed in one of the world's richest ecosystems, she developed a deep appreciation for the power of plant ingredients and their ability to support healthy, resilient skin when combined with scientific innovation.

Returning to England reinforced how environmental factors, climate, and the demands of modern life can affect skin health. As a single mother balancing the challenges of parenthood with working night shifts, Sandra experienced firsthand how stress, fatigue, and lifestyle pressures could impact the skin. These experiences inspired her to deepen her knowledge by training in skincare formulation, allowing her to transform her personal journey into a professional vocation.
