Rick Baker is a British entrepreneur, digital transformation strategist and thought leader specialising in Web3, tokenisation and institutional adoption. With 17+ years of experience across digital business, global education and marketing, and 8+ years working within Web3 and digital assets, Rick has built and launched ventures across the rapidly evolving blockchain ecosystem.
 
As founder of Tokenised Asset Academy™, Rick identified a critical barrier to the institutional adoption of tokenisation: while the technology and infrastructure are advancing rapidly, many organisations lack the regulatory understanding, governance, organisational capability and internal expertise required to implement tokenisation successfully.
 
To address this gap, Rick created IRAF™, the Institutional Readiness Assessment Framework™ — a proprietary methodology designed to make institutional readiness measurable, actionable and scalable. IRAF™ assesses organisations across the critical dimensions of tokenisation, combining structured readiness assessment, maturity scoring, gap analysis and AI-powered recommendations to help organisations understand where they are, what is missing and what needs to happen next.
 
Rick has developed Tokenised Asset Academy™ beyond traditional professional education into an institutional readiness platform, delivering online courses, in-person seminars, executive education and CPD-verified corporate training. He has established strategic relationships across the UK, UAE/GCC and Africa, working with organisations across tokenisation, Web3, education and financial services.
 
His work has received international recognition, including selection for the Web Summit ALPHA startup programme and multiple awards recognising innovation in blockchain, digital assets and education. Rick is also a speaker and writer on tokenisation, institutional readiness and the future of financial markets.
 
His long-term ambition is to establish institutional readiness as a recognised discipline and global standard for the tokenised economy helping bridge the gap between technological innovation and the institutions that will ultimately adopt it.
