Founder of Realness Rising
Randi Cutler Hall is a licensed marriage and family therapist, grief guide, ritualist, authentic relating facilitator, and founder of Realness Rising. For more than a decade, she has supported individuals, families, and communities navigating grief, loss, relationships, and major life transitions.
Randi’s professional background includes community mental health, in-home family therapy, community college counseling, private and group practice, and work with bereavement organizations including Rainbows for All Children and The Willow House. She now brings grief support beyond the traditional therapy room through workshops, retreats, festivals, community rituals, personalized ceremonies, and the her podcast, "Getting Real With Grief".
Her work is also shaped by profound lived experience. After losing both parents in early childhood, in addition to other losses, Randi is well- acquainted with the ways grief can shape our lives. This lifelong relationship with loss taught her that grief is not a problem to solve or a season to complete. It is an ongoing human experience that needs room, witness, ritual, creativity, and community.
Through Realness Rising, Randi creates warm, welcoming spaces where people can meet grief honestly without pressure to fix, perform, minimize, or pretend. Her offerings include grief circles, parent-loss programming, authentic relating workshops, ceremonies for meaningful endings and transitions, and immersive installations such as her mobile grief sanctuary, The Willow Womb. Her approach makes room for the full range of grief, including sorrow, anger, numbness, humor, pleasure, love, and the surprising aliveness that can exist alongside loss.
Randi writes about grief, ritual, relationships, authentic connection, collective care, and how people can live meaningfully without abandoning what or whom they have lost.
