Rachelle Michaud

Rachelle has been called a therapy "rockstar" and a healing "trauma witch". Rachelle has been fiercely pioneering a life for herself since age 16, when she left her childhood home. This travel and adventure has formed a being that is not only radiant but unique, fiercely independent with a critical mind and not afraid to be different. Through experience as a young woman in New York City and Paris as an off-off-Broadway actress, Rachelle experienced unwanted attention in the streets that informs her work in sexuality and objectification today. From formal study and licensure as a psychotherapist in Califonia Rachelle started to develop her expertise in relationships, couples, somatic, and transformative psychology. Rachelle's focus on sexuality encompasses many of her passions and loves: somatic expression, bodywork, embodiment, breathwork, sensuality, movement, voice, relationships, and love). Rachelle is a brave pioneer who combines all these practices and tailors them to the person in front of her. She is well-attuned and does not rush what takes time to develop: passion, inner eros or life force energy, and erotic connection to self and others. Rachelle supports and welcomes all bodies and acknowledges the traumatic experiences lived in bodies of different colors, shapes, and sizes. She dreams of a world where body respect can replace body shame, where objectification can be identified and eradicated, and where sexual assault can be defeated through drones and AI technology. She supports women both in and out of relationships. She has been living the "celibate sexy life" for five years and can attest to its potential for growth. Rachelle can help you not be afraid when you find yourself surprisingly single. As an experienced woman, she also supports women of all ages, including those in or past their menopausal years. There is so much to every woman, through all of her life. She is queer, trans, LGBTIQA+ and BIPOC friendly and affirmative. "All bodies deserve respect". She is working on completing her certification as an AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) therapist and a Transformative Couples therapist and also her PHD in sexology. She uses an advanced and methodical deliberate practice, through videotape to playback sessions and to capture "little moments of love" inside of couples. She has studied Gottman, Imago, Emotion-Focused Therapy for Couples and IFS for couples. She is trained in sensual and somatic yoga and coaching and is completing two training programs in sexological bodywork, including self-touch and self-pleasure. She is a certified (ASSECT) sex therapist and works to teach partners how to recognize an emphatic and full-body yes while pausing, slowing down and giving space when the yes is not there. This promotes safety and full-body-heart love between humans and in polycules (polyamory). What makes her work different is that she is experiential and knows how to work with sexual and emotional blocks. In her free time, she learns about tantra, vampires, dominatrix, kink, erotic blueprints, lqbtq+ movies, and rage revenge films by women. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, and wise.
