Scale Readiness Advisor

The Experience: I've spent more than three decades in real businesses – retail, hospitality, logistics, technology, data, marketplaces and professional services. Founder, operator, executive, advisor. That range matters. It means I've seen the same problems arrive in very different clothes: the cash that disappears during a good quarter, the hire that makes everything slower, the process everyone assumes exists and nobody has written down.

The Lesson: The businesses that struggled were rarely short of ambition, ideas or demand. They were short of infrastructure. Growth arrives faster than the business underneath it can carry. Revenue rises, fragility rises with it, and the founder quietly absorbs the difference - until they can't.

The Framework: The Scale Readiness Ladder came out of that pattern. Five fundamentals, built in sequence: Accounting, Systems, People, Marketing, Sales. The sequence is the point. Most businesses are broken not because a fundamental is missing, but because they were built in the wrong order

The Founder: I'm not an outside consultant with a template. I've built, run, bought and sold businesses and made most of the mistakes I now help other founders avoid. I work with founders who want a business that is genuinely capable of supporting growth, rather than one that survives it.

What I'm Building Now: RESJAM.com – The entrepreneur’s network and marketplace where people connect, discover opportunities and make money. It's free to join, and sellers keep 80% of every sale across products, services and knowledge.

What I Believe: Growth should make a business stronger, not more fragile. A founder should be an advantage, not a bottleneck. Build the business underneath the growth, and almost everything else becomes easier.
