Patrice Edwards
Pragmatic Mindfulness
Patrice Edwards is the founder of Pragmatic Mindfulness, a framework designed to address a challenge many organisations are only beginning to recognise: the more pressure workplaces place on performance, speed, and technological transformation, the more they risk suppressing the human insight, judgement, and creativity that actually drive meaningful results.
Her work supports both individuals and organisations, helping people reconnect with their authentic voice and values, while helping workplaces create environments where individuals can bring their full capabilities to the work they do.
Patrice’s path into this work began after a serious head injury forced her to rethink her relationship with healing, identity, and purpose. When traditional approaches failed to fully address the challenges she faced, she began exploring mindfulness, energy-based practices, and other holistic modalities that helped her reconnect with integrity, clarity, and direction. That experience shaped a deeper understanding of what many people quietly search for in both life and work: not simply recovery, but realignment.
Alongside this personal journey, Patrice built a career spanning more than 15 years as a Senior Analyst and Senior People Development Manager, working across organisational strategy, brand identity, culture and performance. It was here that she began to see a pattern repeating itself. Organisations often ask for innovation, loyalty, high performance and output delivery, yet many of the operating environments leave people feeling unseen, constrained, or disconnected from the very values and perspectives that make their contributions unique. Pragmatic Mindfulness emerged at the intersection of these two worlds.
Through 1:1 work, workshops, and corporate programmes, Patrice helps individuals strengthen resilience, self-awareness, and values-driven decision making, while supporting organisations to cultivate cultures where authenticity, trust, and collective intelligence can breathe and flourish. Her work increasingly explores how individuals and organisations (humanity overall) can evolve alongside technologies such as AI, not as a force that replaces human capability, but as one that can amplify it when workplaces remain grounded in identity, ethics, values, and shared purpose.
Her mission is to help people and institutions rediscover the power of human presence, insight, and alignment in a world that is changing faster than ever.
