Natalie Boehm is a strategic consultant, advocate, speaker, and nonprofit leader dedicated to improving the lives of individuals living with epilepsy and disabilities. Diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of two following a traumatic brain injury, Natalie has transformed her personal journey into a lifelong mission centered on advocacy, education, inclusion, and community empowerment. Her lived experience has fueled her passion for creating opportunities and support systems for individuals and families navigating neurological and neurodivergent conditions.
Natalie is the President and Founder of The Defeating Epilepsy Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on epilepsy awareness, advocacy, education, and resource development. Through her leadership, the organization works to reduce stigma surrounding epilepsy while expanding access to support services, educational initiatives, and community outreach programs for those affected by epilepsy and disabilities. She is deeply committed to helping individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered within their communities.
In addition to her nonprofit work, Natalie is a strategic consultant who collaborates on initiatives related to healthcare advocacy, nonprofit development, disability inclusion, and community engagement. She earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Redlands, where she further developed her leadership and organizational strategy expertise. Natalie has appeared on numerous podcasts discussing epilepsy advocacy, disability awareness, leadership, and resilience. Her work and thought leadership have also been published through Forbes Business Council, where she has contributed insights on advocacy, leadership, and creating meaningful social impact.
Through every aspect of her work, Natalie remains committed to building a more inclusive and compassionate society for individuals living with epilepsy and disabilities.
