Naómi Oosthuizen is the Founder and Managing Partner of Sentio™, a European cybersecurity and governance advisory firm specialising in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence governance, digital resilience, and enterprise risk management. Through Sentio™, she serves clients across multiple industries, helping executive teams and boards navigate complex regulatory, technological, and operational challenges while leading large-scale cybersecurity transformation programmes.

With more than two decades of international leadership experience, Naómi has built her career at the intersection of cybersecurity, information technology, operational technology, governance, risk management, audit, and regulatory compliance. She advises organisations on strengthening cyber resilience, developing effective governance frameworks, and embedding security into business strategy to support sustainable growth and innovation.

Her expertise spans AI governance, the EU AI Act, NIS2, DORA, ISO/IEC 27001, operational technology cybersecurity, enterprise risk management, digital resilience, and the governance of converged IT and OT environments. She has a particular interest in how emerging technologies are reshaping corporate governance, executive accountability, organisational behaviour, and strategic decision-making.

As an author, researcher, and international speaker, Naómi writes extensively on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, governance, regulation, and the future of digital trust. Her work combines technical expertise with practical executive experience, making complex regulatory and technological topics accessible to boards, business leaders, and policymakers.

Through Sentio™, Naómi advocates for a human-centred approach to cybersecurity, believing that resilient organisations are built not only through technology, but through strong governance, accountable leadership, and responsible innovation.
