Mileah Radocchia
Clinical & Holistic Therapist
Mileah began her journey by first earning her Master's of Social Work at the University of Toronto, all the while learning through working with organizations that assisted individuals in dire circumstances. She continued on, working in various mental health clinics in Toronto, as well as the school system, where she gained invaluable experience working with the community, children, families, and complex traumas. Further, this provided insight into how familial and generational trauma can exhibit a “trickle-down” effect and allowed her the knowledge of the strategies that can be applied to end trauma cycles.
As all individuals do, Mileah has traversed challenges and barriers in her life, and by embracing the work required to overcome them, it has led her to understand how meditation and mindfulness can be utilized as tools for personal progress. By developing this practice, Mileah became fascinated with the science behind meditation and how it initiates a path of healing on multiple levels for an individual, including their mind, body, and spirit. On this path of learning, Mileah has encountered many spiritual mentors and experienced psychotherapists, some of which she has even developed lasting friendships with. These individuals have guided Mileah to understand the power of the mind and how it connects to the body, both consciously and unconsciously. These experiences have further developed her interest and passion in the realm of energetics, metaphysics, and its alignment with neuroscience and neuroplasticity.
Today, Mileah has developed her practice by combining all of her experiences and using them toward the healing of the entire individual and not just a single component. Mileah's foundational belief is that true healing and growth come from balancing work with the mind, body, and spirit. The aim is to achieve this through a collaborative method, in which the client holds an active role in their own development, as opposed to the practitioner simply dictating instruction. She is also committed to her own ongoing growth and learning as a practitioner, and thus continues to attend trainings and certificate programs to further excel in the combined approach of both alternative and clinical healing methods.
