Michael Odendaal
Michael Odendaal's journey is a testament to resilience, perseverance, and a relentless pursuit of success. With a passion for property and a knack for networking, Michael quickly scaled his property business from nothing in 2018, amassing a portfolio of over 50 units in a remarkably short span of time. As he was on the cusp of launching a national franchise, tragedy struck in 2021, tearing his family apart for 18 months and forcing him to shut down his business.
Amidst the chaos and heartache, Michael found himself grappling with isolation and frustration. Yet, despite this, he determined to rebuild and come back stronger. Whilst back in employment, Michael reflected on his experience and remembered his ability to and passion for connecting with people and attracting investors to fund his ventures. Drawing strength from his own journey, Michael embarked on a new mission—to empower aspiring entrepreneurs and bridge the gap between vision and fruition.
Fueled by a profound desire to transform adversity into opportunity, Michael founded The Entrepreneurs Network Ltd and began working on TEN Connect—a visionary platform dedicated to revolutionizing professional networking for entrepreneurs and business owners alike. Grounded in his personal experiences and driven by a steadfast commitment to empower others, TEN Connect promises to cultivate an ecosystem where entrepreneurs can connect, collaborate, and thrive.
In addition to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Michael also serves as a mentor and coach for property entrepreneurs, guiding them to become sought-after assets that attract investment into their businesses and portfolios.
Beyond business, Michael's role as a father of seven children serves as a constant source of motivation and inspiration. His love for continuous learning and improvement is evident in his pursuit of knowledge and his willingness to mentor and uplift those around him. Through his ventures, Michael seeks to create a legacy of empowerment—a legacy built on the belief that success is not just about achieving one's goals but about empowering others to do the same.
