Raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and shaped by the foster care system through the love and leadership of his grandparents, Dr. Copeland’s life journey has fueled a lifelong commitment to serving underserved communities and amplifying stories that inspire resilience, healing, and purpose.

With over a decade of experience in education and community-based work, Dr. Copeland has served in roles including teacher, wraparound resource coordinator, program manager, consultant, and chief of staff. His work has spanned Cleveland, Nashville, and beyond, where he partnered with school districts, charter schools, nonprofits, and families to remove barriers to student success, build family resource centers, and strengthen school-community partnerships.

Dr. Copeland is the founder of Copeland Consults LLC, a consulting firm dedicated to empowering authors, educators, and entrepreneurs through coaching, publishing support, and brand development. He has helped first-time authors bring their books to life, guided entrepreneurs in scaling their businesses, and created platforms that turn stories into sustainable impact.
