Dr. May Chahine is a mechanical engineer with a Ph.D. in Process Engineering and Energetics from the University of Orléans, France. Her expertise spans combustion, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer, with research focusing on the role of magnetic and electric fields in laminar diffusion flames, soot formation, and thermo-acoustic instabilities. She has conducted postdoctoral research at the Clean Combustion Research Centre, University of Science and Technology in Jeddah, contributing to advanced strategies for combustion control and energy efficiency.

In parallel with her research, Dr. Chahine has cultivated a strong teaching profile through her roles at École de Technologie Supérieure (Montréal) and the University of Orléans, where she has taught thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.
