If you are lucky enough, returning from deployment for some means the end of one road, and the start of another. It is amazing how one can put themselves into harm's way, knocking gently daily on death's door, and somehow come home unscathed physically and mentally. However, it's the challenges we face daily that can be what pushes someone over the brink or into bettering themselves. Pain can mold more hurt, or create opportunity.
This journey began with Mathew J. Noll Sr. and a combat deployment, a nationally recognised surprise, and 7 years afterward spent building a family. All the while, Christopher “Topher” Peterson, was raising 3 daughters, married, and working a regular 9-5.
When given a chance to work together on a basketball podcast in January of 2024 via a mutual acquaintance made on deployment, Matt and Topher began a friendship that spanned between Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. What everyone around them did not know was that their marriages, families, and abilities to be fathers had also been dashed into a million pieces through divorce. Rather than letting divorce, legal battles, and lost time be a driving force of despair, the two bonded together to start their own sports media company; Bake and Shake Worldwide.
Only 10 months into their existence, the two have amassed an army of content creators, personalities, comedians, musicians, fighters, cooks, and authors. Though sports is the tie that binds, a consistent focus on mental health and awareness has always remained at the forefront of the company's structure.
Bake and Shake Worldwide currently has 6 shows that are produced weekly, and is launching 2 more by the end of summer 2026. With over 150 episodes available on Youtube, there is already a library of content for new fans to discover. With shows and personalities located in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New York, Kentucky, California, and Ireland.
